Ding Dong, the Bitch is Dead

2 May 2011

I’m sure everybody (even Adolf Hitler) knows by now that Osama bin Laden is dead, dead, dead. I for one couldn’t be happier… for a variety of reasons.

First, I’m glad the bastard is dead. Some may have complained that his death was “too quick,” but any other suggestion just isn’t reasonable. Torture him first? Try to take him alive so that Eric Holder can hold his trial in New York City and get him released on a technicality? Just kill him and be done with it. I don’t begrudge the fact that he body was treated “in accordance with Islamic beliefs”, meaning that he was buried (at sea) within 24 hours of death – Yes, I’m sure we’d all prefer that he were buried in a shroud of bacon; but isn’t that just a waste of good bacon? I’m not sure exactly what they meant to accomplish by granting him this “honor”, but hey. As long as he’s not merely dead, but really most sincerely dead, we can afford to be magnanimous.

Secondly, I’m quite happy to see the lack of a groundswell of conspiracy theories surrounding the event. During Bush’s presidency his opponents frequently implied that he knew exactly where Osama was, and that he was just waiting for the right time (before his reelection in 2004, when his polls numbers hit rock bottom or he had a story to distract the media from) to capture/kill bin Laden for personal political gain. If Osama had been killed during the Bush presidency, regardless of the time and details; the media, academia, and left-wing blogosphere would have been abroil with innuendo and lies. Regardless of who gets the credit, I’m glad to see more maturity among the circles within which I move – For the most part, we’re just all happy to see him dead. Can I say “dead” again? A tingle goes up my fingers whenever I type the word… Osama is dead, dead, dead… (This must be Chris Matthews feels all the time since 2008.)

ZGeek — A Virginia man was sentenced Thursday to twenty-five years in prison for trying to help a Somalia militant group and threatening writers of the satirical South Park television show for their depiction of the prophet Mohammad, the U.S. Justice Department said. A federal judge in Virginia handed down the sentence for Zachary Chesser, who pleaded guilty to making threats, soliciting others to threaten violence and material support to the group, al Shabaab. Chesser admitted he ran numerous websites and called for violence against Americans. In one instance he published the home addresses for the writers of South Park after they lampooned Mohammad and he urged readers to “pay them a visit.”

Apparently this guy wasn’t important enough to have his prosecution scuttled by the DOJ in order to advance “muslim outreach.”

As Lindsey Graham (RINO-SC) continues to defend his call to ban the burning of the Quran by equating it to setting an American flag on fire (something liberals have never had a problem with and which has been upheld as protected “free speech” – something the Left is more and more against these days), Ann Barnhardt provides a searing rebuttal. I Guess They Wear Sneakers

President Obama has secretly sent the CIA into Libya. Apparently, they aren’t covered by his promise not to have any “boots on the ground” in the non-enemy-country we face in the not-war.

The Daily Mail — The President has signed a secret order authorizing covert U.S. government support for rebel forces seeking to oust Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi. The revelation comes as Obama and allies talked openly of arming the rebels who, despite the UN-backed no-fly zone, are on the verge of being overrun by Gaddafi’s superior military force. It is not clear what covert operations the CIA will carry out in Libya. The White House and the agency have refused to confirm it will take a role in the revolution, and Obama has insisted the U.S. will not attempt regime change in the country, but will merely support the rebels in their battle. … Obama signed the order within the last two or three weeks, four U.S. government sources told Reuters. (H/T: GatewayPundit)

The last two or three weeks? That could be before he even authorized the no-fly zone and the bombings. Well, we already know that Obama had absolutely no legal or Constitutional authority to send in the military – but what about the CIA?

Foreign Policy — Responding to reports President Barack Obama secretly authorized covert action to support the Libyan rebels, the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee said that actually arming the Libyan rebels would require his approval and he hasn’t given it. Rep. Mike Rogers (R-MI) said in a late Wednesday interview that the Obama administration’s top national security officials were deeply split on whether arming the rebels was a good idea. … Rogers wouldn’t confirm or deny the report that Obama issued what’s known as a “presidential finding” authorizing the intelligence community to begin broadly supporting the Libyan rebels, because such findings are sensitive and classified. But he said that if Obama wanted to arm the rebels, the president would need Rogers’ support, which he doesn’t yet have. “Any covert action that happens would have to get the sign off of the intelligence chairmen, by statute. You won’t get a sign off from me,” Rogers said referring to National Security Act 47. “I still think arming the rebels is a horrible idea. We don’t know who they are, we only know who they are against but we don’t really who they are for. We don’t have a good picture of who’s really in charge.” … (H/T: AllahPundit)

Could Be Worse. Could Be Christian…

14 March 2011

Just in time to brought up as an exhibit in Representative Peter King’s (R-NY) hearings on radical Islam, if Keith Ellison (D-MN) is done crying over bold-faced lies: Al-Qaeda has launched a “Jihad Cosmo” women’s magazine, which mixes fashion tips with suicide-bombing advice…

Daily Mail …the glossy magazine’s front cover features the barrel of a sub-machine gun next to a picture a woman in a veil. There are exclusive interviews with martyrs’ wives, who praise their husbands’ decisions to die in suicide attacks. The slick, 31-page Al-Shamikha magazine — meaning The Majestic Woman — has advice for singletons on ‘marrying a mujahideen’. Readers are told it is their duty to raise children to be mujahideen ready for jihad. And the ‘beauty column’ instructs women to stay indoors with their faces covered to keep a ‘clear complexion’. … another article urges readers to give their lives for the Islamist cause. It advises: ‘From martyrdom, the believer will gain security, safety and happiness.’ More traditional content for a women’s magazine includes features on the merits of honey facemasks, etiquette, first aid and why readers should avoid ‘toweling too forcibly’. A trailer for the next issue promises tips on skin care — and how to wage electronic jihad. (H/T: Weasel Zippers)

What? He Broke Another Promise?

8 March 2011

Raise your hands if you’re surprised. Yeah, me neither.

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Associated Press has learned that President Barack Obama is approving the resumption of military trials for detainees at the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, ending a two-year ban. A senior military official says Obama will issue an executive order Monday. Defense Secretary Robert Gates will rescind his January 2009 ban against bringing new cases against the terror suspects at the detention facility. Obama vowed when he took office to close the detention facility at Guantanamo, but officials have recently acknowledged that closure is not likely because of questions about where terror suspects would be held. (H/T Weasel Zippers)

So it’s not just the White House that’s butthurt; just imagine how Obama’s supporters must be feeling right now. Why, if it wasn’t for the fact that there was a Democrat in the Oval Office, all of those anti-war pro-terrorist “activists” would be filling the streets, making their voices heard and their stenches smelled. But, on the Left, hypocrisy flows from the top down and from the bottom up. Not to mention laterally, diagonally, and even via vectors which can’t be described in a family blog (at least, not without using at least six dimensions; and who has time for that sort of math?)

Bush/Obama: Meet the new boss. Same as the old boss.

WMDs Found … In America?

14 February 2011

The following clip was broadcast on a local news show (ABC 10) in San Diego on February 9th – almost a week ago. The national media, for whatever reason, has failed to report it (Jammie Wearing Fool found out about it from a British newspaper). Below, an “I-Team” reporter speaks to assistant port director Al Hallor about what they find during port of entry inspections:

TSA Coming to Bus Stations

1 December 2010

I wonder how long it’ll be before people are getting groped (by professional security personnel, I mean) on the DC Metro?

Remember Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano hinting on November 22, 2010, that those invasive body searches may be coming to trains, subways, and boats? Well, it is happening. Your friendly TSA goons are now in bus terminals in Florida. Welcome to the UPSA, the United Police States of America. (H/T: Fellowship of the Minds)

I found a few things interesting about this video:

  • No naked scanners (yet), but they are wearing the blue gloves that don’t get changed from person to person and can transmit diseases and parasites.
  • Among the various federal personnel interviewed is “Steve McDonald, US Border Patrol.” People getting on a bus in Florida are not likely to be leaving the country and are hundreds of miles away from either the Mexican or Canadian borders; why aren’t the Border Patrol actually out there patrolling the borders with anywhere near the thoroughness they’re using on American citizens?
  • Funny how they get bomb/drug-sniffing dogs while airports don’t. Must be because this is a Greyhound terminal.
  • The program is called VIPAR: “Visible Intermodal Prevention And Response”. Note the word “Visible” right at the beginning – it’s there because this is yet another variation of the TSA’s Security Theater. They also mention later the security is “on display”.
  • They only showed one passenger giving a (positive) opinion. How many passengers did they have to interview before they got him?

I’m surprised that the TSA’s next move was the private company Greyhound and not the federally run and subsidized Amtrak.

Dedicated to the TSA

This song was written, recorded, and animated by my wife in a single morning. God, I love her. Like the last one, it’s “dedicated to the drooling perverts of the Transportation Security Administration.”

Just Arson Around

29 November 2010

Another attempted terrorist has been caught; this one had planned to “blow up a van full of explosives during a Christmas-tree-lighting ceremony in Portland, Oregon.” The federal government was on the ball while the city of Portland was shown the idiocy of their ways (a lesson which they may or may not learn from):

Internet Scofflaw — We haven’t been told exactly how the FBI became aware of Mohamud’s contacts with the Pakistani terrorists (and well we shouldn’t have), but it seems likely that the government intercepted their messages. Communications such as those, between foreign terrorists and Americans, are the ones we most need to know about. They are also the ones that the left feels strongly we shouldn’t listen to. … There’s one additional wrinkle in this story: The city of Portland voted in 2005 not to cooperate with the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force. Portland is now reconsidering that decision, but even now they won’t admit they were wrong. Rather, the mayor says he feels better about it now that Obama is president. (H/T: Instapundit)

Following upon the heels of this story is the news of attempted arson at the mosque where the bomber attended. Naturally, CAIR is on the scene decrying this “hate crime” against muslims and the locals are said to be “fearing a backlash.”

Oregon Live — The fire was reported at about 2:15 a.m. today. Corvallis Fire Department spokeswoman Carla Pusateri said the fire was intentionally set, but would not say what led investigators to the conclusion. … The fire was contained to one room in the mosque, an office, which was 80 percent damaged and there were no injuries. It took firefighters about 10 minutes to put out the fire.

So far, many so-called anti-muslim “hate crime” arsons were actually set by muslims. I suspect that this one was also set by muslims, in order to (a) change the subject in the compliant media away from the attempted attack, and (b) destroy any incriminating records at the mosque ahead of any investigations (since the fire was set in the mosque’s office, and the rest of the building, including the “worship areas”, was untouched). Anyone trying to burn down the mosque wouldn’t have broken into the building and gone straight to the office, setting a single small fire there (that took ten minutes to put out!), and left the rest of the building untouched. Seems obvious to me, and consistent with past fake “hate crimes”.

Oh, and the would-be terrorist’s name was Mohamed Osman Mohamud. Can we stop groping nuns, three-year-olds, and rape victims (whose only crime was “flying while menstruating”) yet?!

Extreme Domestics

24 November 2010

According to Doug Hagmann at the Canada Free Press (H/T: Saynsumthn)

Following the publication of my article titled “Gate Rape of America,” I was contacted by a source within the DHS who is troubled by the terminology and content of an internal memo reportedly issued yesterday at the hand of DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano. … The memo, which actually takes the form of an administrative directive, appears to be the product of undated but recent high level meetings between Napolitano, John Pistole, head of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA),and one or more of Obama’s national security advisors. This document officially addresses those who are opposed to, or engaged in the disruption of the implementation of the enhanced airport screening procedures as “domestic extremists.” The introductory paragraph of the multi-page document states that it is issued “in response to the growing public backlash against enhanced TSA security screening procedures and the agents conducting the screening process.” Implicit within the same section is that the recently enhanced security screening procedures implemented at U.S. airports, and the measures to be taken in response to the negative public backlash as detailed [in this directive], have the full support of the President. In other words, Obama not only endorses the enhanced security screening, but the measures outlined in this directive to be taken in response to public objections. … It labels any person who “interferes” with TSA airport security screening procedure protocol and operations by actively objecting to the established screening process, “including but not limited to the anticipated national opt-out day” as a “domestic extremist.” The label is then broadened to include “any person, group or alternative media source” that actively objects to, causes others to object to, supports and/or elicits support for anyone who engages in such travel disruptions at U.S. airports in response to the enhanced security procedures. … [emphasis added]

So, just by objecting to the new security theater, in my blog and in song, I am officially considered by the administration and President Obama personally to be a “domestic extremist.” And any of you who have done likewise are sitting on the Group W bench with me. So, what does that mean?

For individuals who engaged in such activity at screening points, it instructs TSA operations to obtain the identities of those individuals and other applicable information and submit the same electronically to the Homeland Environment Threat Analysis Division, the Extremism and Radicalization branch of the Office of Intelligence & Analysis (IA) division of the Department of Homeland Security. For “any person, group or domestic alternative media source” that actively objects to, causes others to object to, supports and/or elicits support for anyone who engages in such travel “disruptions” at U.S. airports (as defined above) in response to the enhanced security procedures, the [applicable DHS administrative branch] is instructed to identify and collect information about the persons or entities, and submit such information in the manner outlined [within this directive].

It’s the holiday season; the government is making their lists and checking them twice. Forget about terrorists or even illegal aliens, the government is far more interested in tracking and controlling us.
