California: In Congressional district 20, incumbent Jim Costa (D) gets to keep his day job (H/T: The Other McCain), having beat challenger Andy Vidak (R) by over three thousand votes. District 11, where incumbent Jerry McNerney (D) faces challenger David Harmer (R), remains up in the air.

New York: In Congressional district 25, incumbent Dan Maffei (D) conceded to challenger Ann Marie Buerkle (R), giving the GOP 242 seats to the Democrats’ 191. District 1, where incumbent Tim Bishop (D) faces challenger Randy Altschuler (R), is the other remaining House race.
