Poll: Fox Most Trusted Name in News (Politico) — “A Public Policy Polling nationwide survey of 1,151 registered voters Jan. 18-19 found that 49 percent of Americans trusted Fox News, 10 percentage points more than any other network.” Amazing how large that raaaaacist fringe of Obama-haters is, isn’t it? So much for the White House trying to marginalize and kill Fox News.

Queens Clinic A1 Medicine Probed after Alexandra Nunez is Fatally Injured while Undergoing Abortion (NY Daily News) — The article makes no mention whatsoever about any previous similar incidents; it would be informative to know how often this sort of thing happens or a total mortality figure. In any event, since she wasn’t killed by a tea-bagging abortion bomber, expect this to be a “nontroversy”. (While we’re on the issue, check out Zombie’s latest photo essay: San Francisco(!) hosted a rally on the hot-button topic of abortion, and pro-lifers outnumbered pro-choicers 500-to-1.)

Send California Inmates to Mexico, Says Schwarzenegger (AFP) — Now there’s a biased headline, since the very first paragraph of the story makes clear that the Governator is only referring to “undocumented inmates”; which are only referred by their more honest name, “illegal immigrants”, a bit further down. It’s an interesting idea, provided we can trust the Mexican authorities not to release some of the inmates and give them a ride back up to the Gringo Border; but the sort of idea that is only born out of fiscal desperation in California. (At least the completely busted state is no longer trying to tell other states how to run their business.)
